Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toma Takahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurent's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tropa de Elite. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahara takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Laurent blocks a jab.
Takahara throws a hook but Laurent avoids it easily.
Laurent scores with a three punch combo!
Laurent dodges the punch combination from Takahara.
Takahara slips a jab and a cross from Laurent.
Takahara is looking to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takahara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Laurent throws out the jab.
Takahara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Laurent swings for the body but Takahara moves out of range.
Laurent scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Laurent lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Takahara has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Takahara and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Laurent ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A head kick from Takahara lands but Laurent takes it in his stride.
Takahara tries to clinch there but Laurent circles away.
Laurent swings for the body but Takahara moves out of range.
Takahara moves in looking to clinch but Laurent pushes him off.
Laurent throws a hook to the side of Takahara's head but Takahara sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Laurent misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laurent throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laurent is looking to wear down Takahara with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Takahara misses the jab.
Laurent misses with an attempted mid kick.
No joy there for Takahara, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takahara lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Laurent misses with a left hand
and Takahara counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Laurent will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Takahara clinches with his opponent.
Laurent on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Laurent blocks a body shot from Takahara.

Laurent's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Laurent pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Takahara takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Takahara staying out of range there.

Takahara keeps Laurent at a distance using the push kick.
Frederic Laurent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Laurent throws a hook but Takahara blocks it.
Laurent fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takahara manages to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takahara jabs at Laurent's body.
Takahara fakes the leg kick and cracks Laurent in the body.
Takahara takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Some bone on bone action there as Takahara checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Laurent throws a low kick, looking for Takahara's leg but Takahara calmly moves out of range.
Laurent is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Takahara's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Laurent takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Takahara throws a sloppy head kick and Laurent moves out of range easily.
Takahara uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Laurent.
Laurent blocks a jab.
Takahara misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laurent feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Takahara's calf.
Laurent bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takahara's head backwards.

Takahara is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Takahara keeps Laurent at a distance using the push kick.
Takahara lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takahara.
Takahara takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Laurent missing with a left hand there. Takahara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Takahara misses with an attempted mid kick.
Takahara tries to bum rush Laurent with a series of wild strikes but Laurent uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Laurent takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Laurent throws a hook but Takahara avoids it easily.
Takahara connects with a high kick.
Laurent steps in with a hook that catches Takahara right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Laurent follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Takahara looks absolutely devastated.
