Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itsik Obas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Buffet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obas comes to the cage accompanied by Perfect Gentelman. Buffet is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Margaritaville. Jimmy Buffet told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buffet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Obas throws a head kick but Buffet moves out of range.

and Buffet counters with a low kick, right behind Obas 's knee.

Buffet is trying to push Obas away but Obas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Obas tries to close the distance and clinch but Buffet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Obas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Itsik Obas has been cut.
Obas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Buffet can pounce on him.
Buffet throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Obas counters with a thumping low kick.
Buffet keeps the fight on the outside.

Obas rushes Buffet and presses him up against the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
With the fighters up against the cage, Obas throws an elbow but misses.
