Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikuhisa Minowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Minowa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dawkins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Minowa.

Dawkins drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dawkins tries to free his leg and advance position but Minowa is retaining full guard.
Dawkins preventing the sweep.
Dawkins with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dawkins sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Minowa wants to sweep but no luck.
Dawkins trying to control but Minowa is working from the bottom.
Minowa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dawkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Minowa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Minowa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch combination from Minowa misses.

and Dawkins counters with a straight right hand.
Dawkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Minowa manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Minowa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Minowa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Dawkins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dawkins on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Minowa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dawkins pinned against the cage. Dawkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Minowa jabbing away but nothing is landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Minowa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dawkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Minowa fails with a takedown attempt.
Dawkins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dawkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Minowa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dawkins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dawkins lands a couple of digs.
Dawkins advances to half guard.

Dawkins maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Minowa could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dawkins has cracked it and Minowa is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dawkins!
