Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teddy Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Donny Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Lewis!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with the left hand. Lewis knows he should have avoided that one.
Lewis doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Lewis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lewis tries to clinch
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lewis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lewis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Donny Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teddy Lewis.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Lewis moved out of range nicely.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lewis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A jab lands there for Jones.
Jones drops Lewis with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jones follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donny Jones!
After the fight, Donny Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
