Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Anufriev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorik Vartanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vartanov is looking to land body kicks.
Vartanov looks to land a combination but Anufriev avoids it well.
Anufriev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vartanov's waist but Vartanov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anufriev off to one side.

and Anufriev counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Vartanov takes the fight into the clinch.

Vartanov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Anufriev clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vartanov doesn't have the hooks in and Anufriev manages to turn into his guard.

Anufriev has gone for a leg lock! Vartanov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Anufriev's guard.

Anufriev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vartanov is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anufriev is looking to sinch up a triangle. Vartanov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Anufriev's body to avoid the submission. Anufriev has instead reached around Vartanov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Anufriev arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
