Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tommy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guy sprawls well initially but Tommy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tommy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tommy lands a nice short elbow.

It looks like Experiment Guy has been cut.

Tommy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Guy is just riding it out for now. Tommy eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tommy moves into full mount! Guy won't be happy about that!

Tommy drops his hands momentarily and Guy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Tommy rushes Guy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tommy is trying to break the clinch but Guy is controlling him.
Guy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Tommy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Guy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Tommy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tommy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tommy defends well.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Tommy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Tommy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tommy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Experiment Guy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Experiment Guy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
