Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gyawang Lhad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lhad comes into the arena with Iced Earth - Anthem blaring out of the sound system. Gyawang Lhad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Hall!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hall lands with a good body shot.
Hall takes a swing at Lhad's ribcage but misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target.
Hall gets caught flat footed, as Lhad shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lhad postures up.
Lhad trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lhad looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lhad has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Gyawang Lhad just wasn't active enough.
Hall throws a lazy right hand but Lhad sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lhad scores with a takedown into Hall's guard.
Lhad showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Lhad wants to get up but he can't break Hall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lhad trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lhad is in close to Hall's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hall wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gyawang Lhad.
Lhad slips a straight right by Hall.
Hall throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hall misses with a left hand
and Lhad counters with a three punch combo that has Hall backing up. Hall nods at Lhad to acknowledge the strikes.

Lhad closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hall to the mat! Hall manages to get full guard.
Lhad has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hall is proving hard to escape from.
Hall looking to control.
Lhad works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hall is refusing to be controlled, as Lhad sits in half guard.
Hall is looking to control Lhad's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hall avoid being mounted?

Lhad is trying to control the action in half guard but Hall is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gyawang Lhad just wasn't active enough.
Hall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lhad counters with a thumping low kick.
Hall throws a big shot that misses.
Lhad throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lhad is in Hall's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lhad wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
Lhad tries to stand but Hall is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gyawang Lhad dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lhad tries to close the distance and clinch but Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hall just misses with a punch to the body.
Hall tries to sprawl but Lhad drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gyawang Lhad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hall gets full guard.
Hall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lhad trying to control but Hall postures up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hall in particular looking to stall.

Hall is keen to just control but Lhad is a slippery customer.
Lhad is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gyawang Lhad just wasn't active enough.
Lhad slips under a jab.
Hall tries to clinch but Lhad moves out of range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lhad throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lhad.
Hall misses with a straight left.
Lhad ducks under a wild hook from Hall.
Lhad looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lhad postures up.
Lhad trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
Lhad is posturing up here but Hall has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lhad tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lhad has to tap! Slick submission there by Hall!
