Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Block (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wurds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Block looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Wurds!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Block misses with a takedown
and Wurds counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Block is rocked!
Wurds shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Block's guard.
Wurds working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Oh Block is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wurds avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wurds throwing strikes from guard but Block blocks nicely.
Block seems to have got his legs back now.
Block can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wurds controls the pace.
Wurds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Block. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wurds is working Block over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Block has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wurds can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Block is breathing heavily.
Wurds engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Wurds must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wurds keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Block's head.

Block throwing hammer fists to the chest of Wurds. What's that going to do exactly?
BOOM! Wurds connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wurds loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Block scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Wurds land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Wurds stands and salutes the crowd.
