PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Tso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stotch comes to the cage accompanied by boom baby. Tso has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. General Tso told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, General Tso!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tso looks to score with a jab to the body but Stotch is just out of range.

Stotch lands a big head kick that sends Tso tumbling to the mat! Stotch takes a step backwards and waves Tso back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stotch has Tso up against the cage in a clinch.
Stotch tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tso's elbow.

Tso escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tso is defended easily by Stotch.
A telegraphed right hand from Tso misses the target.
Stotch stuffs the takedown attempt from Tso. Tso gets slowly back to his feet.
Stotch tries to clinch but Tso moves out of range.
Stotch scoring well with a low kick there.
Stotch feints and then cracks Tso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tso down.
Tso throws a series of punches but Stotch avoids them all with ease.
Stotch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tso.
Tso shoots in for a takedown but Stotch shows good takedown defense.
Leopold Stotch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of General Tso.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tso. Stotch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tso avoids the head kick by Stotch.
Tso looks to land a right hand but Stotch moved out of range.
Leopold Stotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tso shoots in but Stotch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Good leg kick by Stotch there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stotch scores with a jab. Tso acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tso gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stotch.
Stotch fails in his attempt to clinch.

Stotch looks to score with a jab to the body but Tso is just out of range.
Tso throws a looping overhand right but Stotch ducks down to avoid it.
Stotch throws a jab when Tso was well out of range.
Tso fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stotch tries to avoid it but Tso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stotch to the ground. Stotch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stotch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tso.
Stotch bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stotch feints and then cracks Tso's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tso down.
Stotch turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Stotch.

Tso tries to keep at a distance but Stotch has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tso managing to block the knees to the body from Stotch.

Stotch scores with a nice hook to the head.
Tso tries to break free but Stotch pushes him back against the cage.
Tso has had enough of the clinch but Stotch keeps him there for the moment.

Stotch working the clinch nicely. Tso is working for position but Stotch cracks him with a big knee to the head! Tso crumples up against the cage and Stotch lands two more shots before the ref can save Tso! This one is all over!
