Hex has chosen Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage . as his entrance music. Bill Goldberg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hex connects with a jab.
Hex circles away from the clinch attempt.

Goldberg moves into the clinch.

Hex stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hex wants it to stay on the feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Goldberg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hex circles away.
Hex tries to close the distance and clinch up but Goldberg swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hex blocks a head kick by Goldberg.
Hex keeps the fight on the outside.
Hex takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hex lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hex tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Goldberg holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hex.
A right handed body shot lands from Goldberg.
A frustrated look appears on Goldberg's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hex is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goldberg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hex pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hex avoids a kick to the body.

Goldberg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hex tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Goldberg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Goldberg is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hex sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Goldberg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hex swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hex cracks Goldberg with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hex takes the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hex has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Goldberg - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Hex, and another! Goldberg is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
