Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Vadokowich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes into the arena with SMALL AXE blaring out of the sound system. Vadokowich has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vadim Vadokowich!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vadokowich misses with a series of wild punches.
Vadokowich scores with a jab to the head.
Vadokowich pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stone on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vadokowich waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stone.
Vadokowich lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

A head kick lands from Stone that sends Vadokowich to the canvas. Vadokowich tries to scramble back to his feet but Stone brings him back down into side control.


Vadokowich is rocked!


It looks like Vadim Vadokowich has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Vadokowich is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stone off and has taken his back!
Vadokowich has the hooks in. Stone is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Vadokowich is riding his opponent, not letting Stone buck him off.

Stone is letting Vadokowich control him for a moment.
Stone tries to bench press Vadokowich off him but Vadokowich keeps the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Vadokowich is not content to let Stone control the position.
Vadokowich has hold of Stone's hands but Stone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vadokowich makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vadokowich.

Vadokowich wants to sweep but no luck.
Stone looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Ben Stone has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Vadokowich getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Vadokowich throws a head kick that Stone semi-blocks.
Vadokowich thuds his right hand into Stone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Stone throws a wild body kick that Vadokowich sees coming a mile off.

Vadokowich ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Stone lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vadokowich moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


Stone is rocked!
A jab from Vadokowich finds it's way through Stone's defenses.
Oh Stone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vadokowich fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Stone seems to have got his legs back now.
Vadokowich throws a big shot that misses.
Stone ducks under a wild hook from Vadokowich.
Vadokowich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.
Vadim Vadokowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vadokowich lands a slapping body shot.
Stone takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Vadokowich is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stone.
Vadokowich looks to throw the jab but Stone is out of range.
Vadokowich fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Vadokowich loads up on a big right hand but Stone slips the punch.
Vadokowich avoids the body shot from Stone.
Vadokowich throws a poor cross that misses
and Stone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Stone moves out of range as Vadokowich throws a body kick.
Vadokowich looks to land a right hand but Stone moved out of range.
Vadokowich missing with a left hand there. Stone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Vadokowich tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vadokowich swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vadokowich feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stones jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Vadim Vadokowich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stone checks the leg kick.
Stone plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Vadokowich counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Stone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vadokowich's guard now.
Stone trying to control but Vadokowich is working from the bottom.
Vadokowich lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stone!
Stone tries to hold on but Vadokowich pushes him away.
Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stone regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ben Stone will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Vadim Vadokowich's cut.
That's time! Stone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Vadokowich takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Stone walks into a left hand.
Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Stone counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vadokowich's knee momentarily.
Stone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vadokowich.
Stone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vadokowich.
Vadokowich throws a jab when Stone was well out of range.
Vadokowich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vadokowich fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Stone counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stone throws a big right hand that misses.
Vadokowich is controlling Stone's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vadokowich is on top in guard.

Stone working for a triangle but Vadokowich defends it easily.
Vadokowich is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vadokowich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stone has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Vadokowich should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stone has tightened it up now! Vadokowich should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
