Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Dowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Chalmers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chalmers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hash Pipe by Weezer. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalmers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dowe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chalmers's waist but Chalmers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dowe off to one side.

Dowe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chalmers has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dowe uses his free foot to push down on Chalmers's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chalmers.

Dowe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chalmers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chalmers shrugs it off.
Chalmers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dowe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dowe fails to advance to Chalmers's back.

Dowe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chalmers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dowe has hold of Chalmers's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chalmers tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dowe cranks the arm and Chalmers screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chalmers, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
