The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taines tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Henderson swivels and escapes.
Taines closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henderson circles away.
Taines gets caught napping as Henderson dives in and scores a takedown. Taines manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Henderson is stalling in the full guard.
Taines has his hands on Henderson's head, controlling the position.
Taines is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Taines trying to keep a closed guard but Henderson is proving a slippery customer.
Taines is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Henderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Taines working for a triangle but Henderson defends it easily.
Henderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Taines wants to sweep here but Henderson controlling him for the moment.

Henderson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Taines looking for a sweep. Not yet Taines, not yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Henderson postures up.
Henderson wants to pass the guard but Taines is keeping the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Benson Henderson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Taines throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Henderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Taines finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Henderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Henderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taines gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Henderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Taines trying to hold on to Henderson's head to control him but Henderson postures up.
Henderson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Taines defend it? Henderson steps over the head and cranks it - Taines is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Henderson!
