The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodger gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dodger is adopting a defensive guard.
Jones gets to his feet. Dodger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dodger throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dodger misses the jab.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dodger swivels and escapes.
Dodger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dodger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dodger wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dodger lands a jab-cross combination.
Jones is rocked!
Dodger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Dodger shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jones is backing up but Dodger catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jones covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Dodger Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
