Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between James Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Chaney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gene Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Chaney misses.
Anderson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chaney looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chaney crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anderson - the referee stops the clock and Chaney gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anderson. Chaney manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Anderson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Chaney is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chaney has his back to the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Chaney to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Anderson connects with a nice cross there... Chaney is looking wobbly and Anderson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Chaney to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Anderson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gene Anderson!
