Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brenen Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips comes to the cage accompanied by Monster. Rod is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Young Jeezy-Lose My Mind. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips misses with a takedown attempt - Rod sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rod stalks Phillips and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Phillips's face. Phillips staggers backwards, shaken.

Phillips drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Phillips is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rod is trying to escape and Phillips transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rod is forced to tap! Nice work there by Phillips! Very nice indeed!
