Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Conan Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown.

Jones wants the takedown. Davis is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Davis's guard against the cage.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Davis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jones wants to stand and escape but Davis is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brad Davis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davis sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Davis has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jones wants to pass the guard but Davis is defending well.
Jones lands strikes from half guard.
Davis is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Davis tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
Davis is trying to stand.

Jones is looking to advance position but Davis won't allow it.
Davis works his way to full guard. Good work.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Davis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Davis is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount!

Jones breaks from Davis's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Poor strikes thrown by Jones there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Davis squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Jones goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Davis is on top in guard.
Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Davis wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jones wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him.
Conan Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jones has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Conan Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davis defends it nicely.

Davis throws out a leg kick but Jones moves out of range and Davis only half commits.
Davis throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones digs a good hook to Davis's body.

Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jones trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.
Jones connects with a couple of short punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.

Jones thows a huge punch but Davis dodges it nicely.

Conan Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Davis is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely.
Jones lands a nice shot to the head.

Davis is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Jones working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Davis turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jones off and cradles Davis's limp body as Jones celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Conan Jones!
A very excited looking Conan Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
