Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Basit Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Basit Ali struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt tries to keep at a distance but Ali has taken the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Ali's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ali has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Colt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ali changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Colt fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Colt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ali as he avoids it easily.
Colt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ali was covering up waiting for the punch and Colt finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Basit Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Colt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Colt dives in and grabs Ali's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ali pushes down on Colt's head and hops out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
