The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Swipe.
Swipe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Swipe moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off.
Anderson scores with a jab. Swipe acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Swipe loads up on a big right hand but Anderson slips the punch.

Anderson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Swipe quickly recovers to half guard.
Anderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Anderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Swipe defending well though.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Swipe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson throws a strike but Swipe avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Anderson pushes down on Swipe's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Anderson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Swipe sees it coming and defends easily.
Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Anderson slips a nice elbow through Swipe's hands, connecting with Swipe's forehead.
Swipe is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard.
Anderson wants to take a breather but Swipe is having none of it.
Swipe keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Swipe wants to get back to full guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Swipe's temple.

Anderson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Swipe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Swipe has escaped and now he's on top!

Anderson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swipe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Anderson is tightening it up a little... Swipe has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Swipe reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Swipe taps out! Nice BJJ there by Anderson!
