The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muroi throws a nice looking combination but Muerte bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Muerte throws a hook but Muroi avoids it easily.
Muerte lands with a right hand.

It looks like Mizushima Muroi has been cut.
Muerte connects with a body shot that sends Muroi's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Muroi throws a hook but Muerte blocks it.
Muerte moves in looking to clinch but Muroi pushes him off.
Mizushima Muroi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muroi tries to bum rush Muerte with a series of wild strikes but Muerte uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Muroi closes the distance and pushes Muerte back into the cage.

Muroi manages to break the clinch.

Muroi drops Muerte with a beautiful combination! Muerte stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Muroi is looking for the KO!

Muerte ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Muroi misses with a straight left.
Muerte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Muroi.
Muroi lands with a big right hook that stumbles Muerte - he's out on his feet here! Muroi follows up with another monster hook that separates Muerte from consciousness! Muerte falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Muroi stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
