Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Olhoffer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Riley!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Olhoffer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Riley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olhoffer tries to avoid it but Riley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olhoffer to the ground. Olhoffer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Olhoffer looks to land a combination but Riley avoids it well.
Olhoffer leaves Riley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Marcus Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Olhoffer is trying to force a seperation but Riley has the dominant position.
Olhoffer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Riley misses with an elbow over the top.
Olhoffer misses with the head strike.
Olhoffer is trying to force a seperation but Riley has the dominant position.
Riley tries to score a body lock takedown but Olhoffer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ray Olhoffer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Riley.
Olhoffer throws a punch but it's blocked by Riley.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Riley slowing the pace effectively.
Riley continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Marcus Riley.
Riley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Riley shoots in for a double leg but Olhoffer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Riley.

Riley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Olhoffer's guard.
Olhoffer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Riley wants to control from the top but Olhoffer keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Riley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Olhoffer dives on top into guard.

Riley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Olhoffer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Olhoffer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Olhoffer wants to stand and escape but instead Riley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Olhoffer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Riley tries to free his leg and advance position but Olhoffer is retaining full guard.

Riley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Olhoffer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Olhoffer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Olhoffer!

Riley throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
A slapping leg kick lands for Riley.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Riley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Olhoffer digs a good body shot into Riley's ribs.
Riley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olhoffer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riley somewhat.
Ray Olhoffer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Olhoffer tries to bum rush Riley with a series of wild strikes but Riley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Olhoffer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Riley doesn't manage to clinch there - Olhoffer circles away.
Olhoffer jabs at Riley's body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riley shoots in looking for a takedown. Olhoffer tries to sprawl out of it but Riley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Olhoffer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Riley looks winded!
Riley fails with an attempt to clinch.
A combination from Olhoffer does no damage.
Riley fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Olhoffer throws a shot to the body.
Olhoffer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Riley.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Riley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Olhoffer is fending him off so far but Riley persists. Nope, Olhoffer circles away and we're back to standing.

Olhoffer drops Riley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Riley looks back up at him and smiles so Olhoffer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Olhoffer dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Riley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Olhoffer.


It looks like Marcus Riley has been cut.
Ray Olhoffer is winning the standup battle so far.

Olhoffer sends Riley crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Olhoffer is motioning to the referee to let Riley up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Riley is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olhoffer cracks Riley with a hook to the temple - Riley is on wobbly legs here! Olhoffer swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Riley falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Olhoffer wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ray Olhoffer!
