The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuure feints and then cracks Neal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Neal down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kuure, right into the meat.
Neal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Neal misses with a looping left.
Kuure gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Kuure has been cut.

Kuure throws an overhand right that lands on Neal's shoulder, as Neal tries to avoid the shot.
Kuure lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neal throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kuure stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kuure wants to slow Neal down by chopping away at his legs.

Neal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Neal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kuure does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neal is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kuure reverses the position - he's now on top in Neal's guard.
Kuure passes Neal's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephen Neal will probably get the nod.

Neal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kuure sprawls well. Kuure wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Neal gets slowly back to his feet.

Neal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kuure with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kuure not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Neal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kuure is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Neal frees his head nicely. Oh but Kuure has switched to an armbar! Neal is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
