Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Kurtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlton comes into the arena with Samael - Baphomets Throne blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Walter Kurtz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Carlton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Carlton gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kurtz.
Carlton lands a nice uppercut.
Carlton has a couple of punches blocked by Kurtz.
Kurtz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Carlton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kurtz blocking some punches.
Kurtz blocks an uppercut.
Carlton missing with knees to the body.
Kurtz takes a shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kurtz misses with a body punch.
Carlton throws an elbow but it misses.
Kurtz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Carlton.
Carlton blocks a body shot from Kurtz.

Carlton lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kurtz backwards.


It looks like Walter Kurtz has been cut.
Kurtz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kurtz swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Carlton just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kurtz's brow.
Carlton is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kurtz is defending well for now.
Kurtz can't find room to land a body shot as Carlton controls the action.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kurtz.
Carlton blocks an uppercut.
Kurtz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kurtz lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Carlton.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carlton lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kurtz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kurtz swings wildly with an uppercut but Carlton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carlton blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Carlton softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Carlton lands with a right to the head.
Kurtz tries a body shot but Carlton blocks it.
Carlton digs a right hand underneath Kurtz's ribcage. Kurtz let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Carlton swings wildly with an uppercut but Kurtz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carlton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kurtz misses with a punch to the body.
Kurtz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carlton's elbow.
Kurtz fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kurtz misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Carlton unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kurtz! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Carlton is unloading with more strikes now! Kurtz drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Carlton!
Kyle Carlton retains his heavyweight title!
In his post fight interview, Kyle Carlton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
