PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toro BangBang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael De Haan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BangBang comes to the cage accompanied by GUCCI. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Michael De Haan enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toro BangBang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael De Haan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BangBang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
BangBang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

De Haan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
BangBang pushes De Haan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, De Haan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BangBang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as De Haan sprawls well. De Haan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. BangBang gets slowly back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

BangBang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De Haan's waist but De Haan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing BangBang off to one side.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
De Haan closes the distance and clinches.

De Haan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

De Haan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming BangBang to the mat! BangBang manages to get full guard.
De Haan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
De Haan is looking to work some ground and pound but BangBang has wrist control.

BangBang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Haan's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

De Haan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with BangBang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Toro BangBang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

De Haan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - De Haan lands in his opponent's guard.
BangBang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Toro BangBang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
BangBang tries to score a power double leg takedown but De Haan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten BangBang somewhat.
De Haan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. BangBang looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Toro BangBang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Michael De Haan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
De Haan jabs BangBang to the body, keeping him at a distance.

I would just about give that final round to Michael De Haan.
Well De Haan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
