The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb stuns Stehling with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bomb lands with a nice body kick.
Bomb is looking to slow Stehling down with leg kicks.
Bomb cracks the inside of Stehling's front leg.
Bomb throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Stehling steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bomb.

Stehling will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Stehling shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stehling tries to land a front kick but Bomb steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Stehling uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bomb.
Bomb's corner calls for a 1-2. Bomb obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bomb has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bomb there as he acknowledges the shot.
Stehling throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bomb avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bomb tries a low kick but Stehling avoids it.

Bomb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Stehling on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
James Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stehling shoots in looking for a takedown. Bomb tries to sprawl out of it but Stehling keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bomb manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mitchell Stehling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stehling fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bomb has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Stehling misses with a straight left.
Stehling takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bomb lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stehling will feel that in the morning.
Bomb scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stehling doesn't seem bothered though.
Stehling is breathing heavily.
Good leg kick by Bomb there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bomb feints and then cracks Stehling's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stehling down.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bomb.

Stehling takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bomb scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bomb has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bomb lands with a right hand.
Stehling walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bomb.
Bomb is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Stehling had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Bomb throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stehling is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Bomb connects with a single shot there.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stehling. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bomb lands a big head kick that sends Stehling tumbling to the mat! Bomb takes a step backwards and waves Stehling back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Stehling is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Bomb. That's going to slow Stehling down.
Oh Stehling is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bomb connects with a solid leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bomb.
Bomb comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bomb lands a leg kick that knocks Stehling off balance momentarily.

Bomb cracks Stehling with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bomb has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stehling to stand back up!
Bomb and Stehling are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Bomb throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Stehling into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Bomb knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
