The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedor on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fedor might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fedor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fedor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Preuss hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Fedor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Preuss sprawls well initially but Fedor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Preuss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fedor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
