Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Piltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piltz comes into the arena with Don't Stop Me Now blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Piltz lands a nice hook to Sullivan's body. Sullivan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Piltz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sullivan defends it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Piltz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sullivan uses it to pass to side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sullivan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Piltz parries the strikes from Sullivan easily there. Sullivan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Piltz to escape.

Sullivan decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Sullivan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Piltz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Sullivan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sullivan connects with a body shot that sends Piltz's belly button to the back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Piltz will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Piltz works over Sullivan's head and body with a nice combination.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Piltz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mark Piltz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
