The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hennessy swivels and escapes.
Hennessy circles away from the clinch attempt.
McLee fails with a takedown attempt.

and Hennessy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

McLee is trying to control. Hennessy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McLee is just content to waste time from the top position. Hennessy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
McLee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hennessy wants to stand up but McLee is controlling him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kieran McLee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
McLee tries to clinch but Hennessy moves out of range.
McLee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hennessy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McLee somewhat.

McLee dives in and grabs Hennessy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hennessy pushes down on McLee's head and hops out.

A frustrated look appears on McLee's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I would just about give that final round to Kieran McLee.
Well McLee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
