Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koon manages to avoid it.
Koon tries for a takedown but Simba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Koon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Simba.
Koon shoots for a double leg takedown but Simba sprawls well. He's pushed Koon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Simba misses with a straight left.
Simba lands with a right hand.
A big right from Simba misses.
Koon moves into range and clinches up with Simba.
Simba gets underhooks to prevent Koon's takedown attempt.
Flo Simba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Koon.
Koon has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Simba regains guard immediately.

Simba manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koon manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Simba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Simba has managed to get both his arms back between Koon's legs - danger averted.
Simba has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Koon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Koon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Simba is aware though and is defending well.
Koon has his foot on Simba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Simba works his way back into a safe position though.

Koon is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Simba has his hands clasped together but Koon extends an breaks Simba's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Koon.
