Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Papa Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pop kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Final Countdown. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Papa Pop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Porter!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter rushes Pop and presses him up against the cage.
Pop successfully pulls guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pop has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Porter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pop looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Porter trying to control but Pop is working from the bottom.
Pop escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Porter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Porter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pop to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Porter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pop pulls down on the head and he's put Porter to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Papa Pop!
Papa Pop bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
