The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks connects with a crisp jab.
Clarkson misses with a straight left.
Sparks misses with a kick to the body.
Clarkson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sparks tries to avoid it but Clarkson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sparks to the ground. Sparks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sparks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clarkson's hands.
Sparks connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Clarkson covering up! Sparks comes in with a big uppercut and Clarkson goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Darren Sparks!
