Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chumba Wumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans comes to the cage accompanied by Hans being Hans. Wumba has chosen La Bamba as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Wumba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wumba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hans manages to avoid it.
A cross from Hans lands.
Hans throws the left hand but Wumba avoids the punch easily.
Wumba keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hans lands with a hook. Wumba tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hans misses with a lunging right hand
and Wumba counters with a nice uppercut.
Hans throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hans scores with the left hand. Wumba knows he should have avoided that one.
Wumba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Super Hans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hans throws a solid leg kick but Wumba takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hans.

Wumba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hans throws a hook but Wumba avoids it easily.
Wumba steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hans. That one must have hurt.

Hans scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wumba in his tracks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wumba leaves Hans with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wumba tries to clinch up but Hans circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wumba won't be happy with that.
Hans wants to control but Wumba is keeping him busy.
Wumba tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hans presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Hans is really struggling to control Wumba but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Hans fails to advance to Wumba's back.
Hans jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wumba is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wumba and Hans has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hans wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wumba, who protects the arm well.
Hans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wumba keeps working.
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Wumba's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Super Hans dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hans slips under a jab.
Hans connects with a solid leg kick.
Hans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hans fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wumba tries to clinch there but Hans circles away.
Wumba darts in trying to clinch
and Hans decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wumba's guard.
Wumba wants to sweep here but Hans controlling him for the moment.
Wumba uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wumba cracks Hans with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Hans connects with a body shot that sends Wumba's belly button to the back.

Wumba moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Wumba counters with a nice uppercut.
Wumba thows a body shot but no joy.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hans - that will leave a mark!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wumba takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Wumba moves out of range of the strikes.
Chumba Wumba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wumba slips a jab from Hans.
Hans circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wumba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wumba circles away quickly and effectively.
Hans throws a shot from downtown. Wumba moves away and avoids it.
Hans throws an off balance right hand
and Wumba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wumba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wumba connects with a body shot.
Wumba is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hans rather than just go for the knockout.
Wumba jabs Hans to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hans punishes Wumba's body with a nice straight punch.

Hans darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wumba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hans paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Wumba holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hans creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wumba wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hans lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

A frustrated look appears on Wumba's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Wumba is trying to force a seperation but Hans has the dominant position.

Hans swings wildly with an uppercut but Wumba uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wumba is still on wobbly legs! Can Hans finish him?

Hans has a couple of punches blocked by Wumba.
Hans lands a shot to the body.
Hans tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Wumba seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Still in the clinch, Hans scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wumba tries to break the clinch but Hans is controlling the position.
Hans creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wumba with a big uppercut! Wumba tries to clinch up but Hans pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wumba to the mat! Wumba covers up and Hans unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Super Hans!
Super Hans retains his welterweight title!
A very excited looking Super Hans made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
