The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Westside, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hansen connects with a body shot that sends Westside's belly button to the back.
Westside avoids a punch combination nicely.
Westside avoids the head kick by Hansen.
Hansen throws a big shot that misses.
Westside scores with a sloppy right hand. Hansen should have avoided that one.
Westside lands with a shot to the body.
Westside tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hansen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hansen there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A looping hook to the body misses from Westside. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Westside drops Hansen with a beautiful combination! Hansen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Westside is looking for the KO!

Hansen shoots for a takedown but Westside saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Westside fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hansen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Westside throws a front kick aimed at Hansen's knee but Hansen avoids it well.
Hansen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Westside thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice takedown defense from Westside. No joy for Hansen on that attempt.
Hansen blocks a low kick nicely.
Hansen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Westside connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hansen scrambles back to his feet.
Westside's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hansen under the eye.
Westside is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Westside scores with a head kick. Hansen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Hansen is still on wobbly legs! Can Westside finish him?
