Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln McLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by Feiticeira. McLeod has chosen Two Steps from Hell as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lincoln McLeod!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards scores with a one two! McLeod had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
McLeod jabs Edwards right on the nose. Edwards blinks but takes it well.
Edwards drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
Edwards dives in and grabs McLeod's left leg, looking for a takedown. McLeod pushes down on Edwards's head and hops out.
McLeod's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Edwards connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McLeod scrambles back to his feet.
McLeod stuffs the takedown attempt from Edwards. Edwards gets slowly back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for McLeod.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edwards's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Edwards duly obliges.
McLeod throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Edwards lands with a nice combination. McLeod backs away looking to recover.
McLeod is rocked!
McLeod connects with a right hand. Edwards shakes it off.
It looks like Josh Edwards has been cut.

McLeod stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Edwards is rocked!
Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
McLeod scores with a sloppy right hand. Edwards should have avoided that one.
Edwards finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under McLeod's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Edwards falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lincoln McLeod!
A relieved looking Lincoln McLeod thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
