The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turden gets the takedown into side control.

Turden wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mad, who protects the arm well.
Turden trying to control the action but Mad is working from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mad is trying to get back to half guard.
Mad regains half guard.
Mad wants to control but Turden is keeping busy.
Turden prevents Mad from improving his position.
Turden looks gassed!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Mad shoots in and bounces Turden off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Mad drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mad as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Turden screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mad! Nice submission victory there!
