Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Gornev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Like a G6. Gornev has chosen gladiator -magnum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gornev.

Gornev lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Gornev takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Gornev counters with a head kick that drops Silva to the mat! Silva scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

and Gornev finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Gornev connects with a single shot there.

Gornev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

Gornev drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gornev is looking for the KO!

Whack! Gornev lands a heavy head kick that drops Silva. The ref tackles Gornev to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Silva was done.
