The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Urden tries to close the distance and clinch but Brookes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brookes tries to clinch but Do Urden moves out of range.
Do Urden shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Do Urden tries to clinch but Brookes moves out of range.
Brookes fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Brookes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Do Urden's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tod Brookes.
Do Urden is looking to clinch.
Do Urden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brookes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Drizzt Do Urden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brookes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brookes swats away the attempt to clinch by Do Urden.
