Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avila gets caught napping as Sanchez dives in and scores a takedown. Avila manages to retain guard.
Avila looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sanchez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Avila avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Avila looking to control.
Sanchez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Avila is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Avila is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sanchez stands up over Avila, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sanchez's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Avila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sanchez wants to stand but Avila is controlling his posture from full guard.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Avila keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Tony Sanchez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sanchez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Sanchez leaves Avila with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses.
Sanchez tries to clinch there but Avila circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sanchez turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Avila sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Avila keeps working.
Sanchez is working to tighten is grip on Avila's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Avila has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sanchez is really squeezing tight and eventually Avila passes out! Sanchez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
