Slyker comes to the cage accompanied by It's Amazing by Kanye West. Russell has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Shaun Russell has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slyker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Russell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Slyker scrambles back to his feet.
Slyker shoots in and drives through. Russell sprawls well.
Slyker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Slyker has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Slyker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slyker closes the distance and clinches up with Russell, looking for a takedown. Slyker pushes Russell against the cage but Russell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Slyker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slyker is breathing heavily.
Slyker has a takedown stuffed.
Slyker shoots in looking for a takedown. Russell tries to sprawl out of it but Slyker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Russell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Russell.
Russell thuds a left hand into Slyker's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Russell fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slyker on the side of the head.
Russell scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Russell scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Russell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Russell lands a nice shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Russell has knocked Slyker down with a huge combo! Russell steps away and waves a wobbly Slyker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Cain Slyker has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Russell tests Slyker's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Slyker is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Slyker. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Russell moves in close and cracks Slyker with a massive right hand! Slyker, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Russell!

After winning the bout, Shaun Russell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
