The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McLee feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rousey sprawling to the canvas! Rousey rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McLee finish him?!

It looks like Ronald Rousey has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McLee moves into the clinch.

McLee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rousey was covering up waiting for the punch and McLee finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Rousey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McLee trying to control the position from guard on top but Rousey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kieran McLee has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

McLee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Rousey regains full guard. Nicely done.

Rousey is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McLee rolls with it to try and escape but Rousey cranks on the arm and McLee is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
