Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ten Red Gym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red Gym's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla dives in and grabs Red Gym's left leg, looking for a takedown. Red Gym pushes down on Materla's head and hops out.
Materla will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Materla bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Red Gym dips to his left and cracks Materla with an uppercut!
Red Gym takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Materla misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ten Red Gym has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Materla.
Red Gym moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Materla takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Materla throws a lazy right hand but Red Gym sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Materla looks to score with a jab to the body but Red Gym is just out of range.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Materla is controlling the pace.
Materla's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michal Materla wasn't active enough on the ground.

Red Gym slaps away a takedown attempt from Materla, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Materla closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Red Gym to the mat! Red Gym manages to get full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michal Materla.
Materla has a takedown stuffed.
Ten Red Gym is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Red Gym's corner calls for a 1-2. Red Gym obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Materla swings for the body but Red Gym moves out of range.

Materla shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Red Gym but Red Gym pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Materla shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Red Gym pinned against the cage. Red Gym gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Red Gym throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Materla on the side of the head.
Materla throws the left hand but Red Gym avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Materla closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Materla is still on wobbly legs! Can Red Gym finish him?
Materla tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Red Gym swivels and escapes.
Red Gym weaves into range and cracks Materla right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Materla goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Red Gym is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
