Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mino Svevo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ian Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mino Svevo!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Svevo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Svevo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Anderson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Svevo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Svevo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Svevo is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson tries to buck Svevo off but Svevo is having none of it.

Svevo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Svevo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Svevo tries to advance to mount but Anderson denies him.

Anderson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Anderson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Svevo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Anderson tries to bench press Svevo off him but Svevo keeps the position.

Svevo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Anderson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Svevo on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Svevo is looking to improve his position.

Anderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Svevo defends it well.
Anderson trying to control the action but Svevo is working from the bottom.
Svevo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Svevo.

Svevo looking for a guillotine here but Anderson defends easily.

Anderson gets to his feet. Svevo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Anderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Svevo tries to break free but Anderson pushes him back against the cage.
Svevo is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Svevo has his back to the cage.

Anderson drags the fight down to the ground.
Anderson wants to sweep here but Svevo controlling him for the moment.
Anderson keeping moving, preventing Svevo from controlling successfully.
Anderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Svevo is stalling in the full guard.

Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Svevo wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Svevo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Svevo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Anderson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Svevo is now in half guard.
Anderson keeping hold of Svevo's head, controlling as best he can.

Anderson is trying to control but can't.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ian Anderson will probably get the nod.

Anderson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Svevo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Anderson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Svevo's body to avoid the submission. Svevo has instead reached around Anderson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Svevo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mino Svevo!
