Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baggy Eldiablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arlindo Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arlindo Ferro!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eldiablo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferro tries to avoid it but Eldiablo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferro to the ground. Ferro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slow jab from Ferro misses its intended target.
Eldiablo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eldiablo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Ferro wants to clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ferro looks for the body kick but Eldiablo saw that one coming.
Ferro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eldiablo tries for a takedown but Ferro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ferro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eldiablo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferro somewhat.
Ferro shoots in for a takedown but Eldiablo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Baggy Eldiablo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arlindo Ferro.

Eldiablo shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferro tries to sprawl out of it but Eldiablo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ferro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eldiablo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ferro has managed to get both his arms back between Eldiablo's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eldiablo defends well.

Arlindo Ferro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Arlindo Ferro has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Eldiablo misses with a body kick.
Ferro throws a low kick but Eldiablo moves out of range easily.

Ferro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ferro lands in his opponent's guard.
Ferro cracks Eldiablo with a solid left hand.

Ferro working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Eldiablo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ferro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eldiablo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferro is nestled in close to Eldiablo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferro wants to take a breather but Eldiablo is having none of it.
Ferro passes the guard and advances to mount!

Ferro wants to get back to his feet but Eldiablo is holding on tight.

Ferro wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Eldiablo can't escape the position.

Ferro breaks from Eldiablo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Ferro controlling the position easily from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ferro connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Arlindo Ferro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ferro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
