The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carne Asada throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

King avoids the head kick by Carne Asada.
King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carne Asada sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King is nestled in close to Carne Asada, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Carne Asada is kicking away at King from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. King grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Carne Asada trying to push King off... Carne Asada taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
