The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mitchel is trying to stand up here but Patos is controlling him well.
Patos wants to work for an arm triangle but Mitchel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Patos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Patos is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mitchel is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
