The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moroba tries a head kick but it misses.
Moroba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mitautas was well out of range. Poor timing from Moroba.
Mitautas takes a kick to the side of the head.
Moroba lands with a shot to the body.
Mitautas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mitautas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mitautas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Moroba is out of range and Mitautas settles back down.

Moroba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Moroba is trying for a kimura here. Mitautas looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Moroba wins by kimura!

Jun Moroba was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
