The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khali scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Khali misses with a series of wild punches.

Davison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davison throws a lazy right hand but Khali sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Khali uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Khali tries to clinch but Davison is having none of it.

Davison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Khali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Brij Khali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Davison.

Khali breaks from the clinch.

Khali shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Khali showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Khali decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Khali seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davison does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Khali seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Davison kicks off Khali and gets to his feet.
Davison thuds his right hand into Khali's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Khali closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Davison tests Khali's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Davison. That snapped Khali's head back.
Khali throws a right hand that Davison ducks under and follows up with a left that Davison also avoids with ease.
Davison scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Davison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davison connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Khali tumbling to the canvas! Davison pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Khali was done - good stoppage!
