The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko avoids the body shot from Bastiani.
Emelianenko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bastiani gets a clinch.
Emelianenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bastiani smiles and moves away.

Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with Bastiani, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes Bastiani against the cage but Bastiani circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko misses with a body kick.
Bastiani cracks Emelianenko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Emelianenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bastiani sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emelianenko somewhat.
Emelianenko looks winded!
Emelianenko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bastiani.

Bastiani lands a left and a right that send Emelianenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Bastiani thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bastiani lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Emelianenko - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Bastiani!
