The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan shoots in but Tapera avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tapera moves into the clinch.
Jordan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tapera is nestled in close to Jordan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jordan dodges an elbow strike from Tapera.

Tapera has Jordan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tapera pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jordan tumbling to the mat - Tapera dives into Jordan's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lenzi Tapera hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Tapera wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jordan keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lenzi Tapera was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Tapera darts in and clinches Jordan up against the cage.

Tapera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Tapera shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jack Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jordan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tapera was covering up waiting for the punch and Jordan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tapera looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jordan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tapera has control of Jordan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jordan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well Tapera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
