The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvez lands a high kick!

It looks like Hunter Gatherer has been cut.
Gatherer blocks a head kick by Alvez.

Gatherer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gatherer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Alvez is out of range.

Gatherer throws out a loose jab but Alvez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gatherer blocks a head kick by Alvez.
Alvez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gatherer lands with a cross.
Alvez scores with a head kick.
Alvez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gatherer throws out a leg kick but Alvez moves out of range and Gatherer only half commits.
Alvez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gatherer defends it nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gatherer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Alvez.
Alvez avoids a kick to the body.
Alvez throws a head kick that misses.

Gatherer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gatherer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alvez at a distance.
Alvez is breathing heavily.
Alvez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gatherer - that will leave a mark!
Both fighters circling a little - Gatherer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gatherer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Gatherer cracks Alvez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Alvez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gatherer finish him?

Gatherer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alvez at a distance.
Oh Alvez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice leg kick lands there from Gatherer.
Gatherer sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Alvez's defenses. It connects perfectly with Alvez's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
